WEET-BIX Mzansi Porridge

Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 3 WEET-BIX biscuits
- 1 cup maize meal
- ΒΌ cup full cream milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon butter
Method
- In a medium-sized pot, bring all 4 cups of water to the boil. While waiting for the water to boil, mix the maize meal with a dash of water until the mixture is well blended.
- Add the maize mixture to your boiled water, spoon by spoon and stir until you reach a smooth consistency.
- Lower the heat and continue to cook your porridge for a further 15 minutes. Add the crushed WEET-BIX and leave it to cook for a further 5 minutes.
- At this point, the porridge should be ready. Dish up the porridge into your serving bowl, add the milk, butter, honey and lastly the banana. Stir & enjoy.
